Browser clipper (bookmarklet)

Capture the current page title, URL, and text selection into your Hoard MCP Inbox with an explicit confirm step.

Install

1. Sign in at devhoard.me in the browser you use for clipping
2. Open Settings → API keys
3. Drag Clip to DevHoard to your bookmarks bar (or copy the bookmarklet)

No API key is stored in the bookmarklet — you must already be signed in on DevHoard.

Use

1. On any page, optionally select text
2. Click the bookmark
3. Confirm Send to Inbox on /app/clip
4. Review in Hoard MCP Inbox → Keep or Trash

Clips use source=clipper and store the page URL in sourceUrl. Empty selection + URL becomes a LINK; otherwise a NOTE. Secrets cannot be created via the clipper.

Gist and Markdown import

From the Hoard More menu:

• Import Gist — paste a public Gist URL (server fetches by id only)
• Import Markdown — upload one or more .md files (frontmatter title/tags supported)

Both land in the Inbox until reviewed. Unreviewed captures are hidden from MCP search/list until you Keep them.
