Terms of Service
Last updated: August 16, 2026 · Soft-launch draft for DevHoard (operated by 6425 Tech)
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of DevHoard (the “Service”), a soft-launch / beta product operated by 6425 Tech (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Soft-launch / beta
DevHoard is offered as an early soft-launch. Features may change, break, or be unavailable. We may suspend, throttle, or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice when practicable. Do not rely on the Service as your only copy of critical data — use export.
2. The Service
DevHoard is a personal memory vault for developers and agents: text items (snippets, prompts, commands, notes, links, optional secrets), MCP access via API keys, packs, and related tools. Pro image storage (private object storage via Cloudflare R2) may be enabled for soft-launch testers by a manual plan update until Stripe billing ships. Opt-in public share links for SNIPPET and PROMPT (when you enable them) are available; SECRET is never shareable. Teams marketplaces and paid self-serve Checkout are not part of the Free soft-launch unless we say otherwise in-product.
3. Accounts and eligibility
- You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for activity under your account, including MCP agents using your API keys.
- You must be able to form a binding contract where you live; the Service is not directed at children under 13.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate law, infringe others’ rights, or upload malware / abusive content
- Attempt unauthorized access to other users’ vaults or our infrastructure
- Abuse rate limits, scrape in a way that harms availability, or reverse-engineer except as allowed by law
- Use SECRET items as a substitute for a password manager or to store data you are not allowed to hold
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you store. You grant us a limited license to host, process, encrypt, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the Service (including MCP tools you authorize). You represent you have rights to the content you store and to grant agents access via your keys.
6. Secrets and security
Optional SECRET items use field-level encryption with a server-held key. DevHoard can decrypt for authorized features — this is not end-to-end encryption and not a password manager. You are responsible for export hygiene and key revocation.
7. MCP and agents
API keys let third-party clients (for example Cursor) call DevHoard on your behalf. Prefer least-privilege scopes. Captures may land in the Hoard MCP Inbox for your review. You are responsible for what agents write with your keys.
8. Plans and billing
Soft-launch Free access is provided without charge. Pro storage may be granted manually until Stripe Checkout is enabled. When paid billing launches, prices and entitlements will be stated in-product; webhooks (not client claims) will be the source of truth for paid entitlements.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 6425 TECH AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PRIOR TWELVE MONTHS OR (B) USD $50 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion via Settings (where available). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk to the Service or other users. Soft-deleted vault items may be purged on a schedule.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes is the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms for soft-launch changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
14. Contact
Questions about these Terms: use the support / operator email associated with your DevHoard magic-link or account notices (Resend). Product docs: /docs. Privacy: Privacy Policy.
